Mentors: The Blessing of Someone Who Cares

Jerry, Dore, Meridth, Jan, Derek, Fio, Craig, Maria, Diana, Judy, James, Jim, Dana, Walt, and Ron – all returning coaches for the Fall Semester in 2019: these are some of greatest ministry partners at the Catalyst Christian Learning Center. Without these precious volunteers are mentoring program would not exist. The conversations that each mentor has with their CCLC students are truly life-changing. Please pray for our mentors as they seek to make an impact in the lives of our students. We are always on the lookout for new mentors. Please be in prayer for us as we increase our numbers in the mentoring department. This is one of our greatest ministry efforts at the Catalyst Christian Learning Center.

This Semester: Character & Core Values, Old Testament, and World Religions

We are currently teaching three courses at the CCLC. 1st block is Character & Core Values. Kristie Matthews is our teacher. 2nd block is taught by Jeff Ford. The course is called The Old Testament and Its Influence. 3rd block is also taught by Jeff Ford. The course is called World Religions from a Christian Perspective. Each class has precisely 22 students. That’s 66 students in total. We are blessed as teachers to have the opportunity to speak of our Christian Faith openly and honestly. Please pray for us as we continue to “shine the light” of Jesus Monday through Friday week after week in the classroom.

Next Semester: Relationship Skills, Character & Core Values, and New Testament

We are already gearing up for another semester. Pray for us as we continue to instruct students (hopefully 66 more) in 2020. The courses offered next semester are: Relationship Skills, Character & Core Values, and New Testament.
